Hike 81: Von Teno Alto nach Teno Bajo
The hike takes us up to the Teno plateau to Teno Alto. We park on the main road near the church. From here we first descend on a road before changing to a hiking trail. In the upper part, the path is quite easy. The paths are wide and flat. On the way we pass small homesteads and huts.

The path turns into a somewhat steeper barranco. There are no exposed sections, but the path is somewhat somewhat uneven and rocky, as is typical of barrancos. At the bottom, you can still walk to Faro de Teno (bathing opportunity).
For the way back, I tested a parallel mountain trail. It is not signposted and partly overgrown. After a short ascent, I turned back. So you have to climb the same way again. If you want to avoid this, take a look at Tour 82 as an alternative.
